Their were over 300 guests in attendance yet their wedding felt surprisingly intimate and personal. We were so well taken care of, so welcomed, beyond anything we have ever experienced at a wedding. So much so, it makes me tear up with gratitude every time I think of it.
I don’t think we quite have the words to say just how much we loved this wedding. It was everything. Just everything.
We often ask ourselves “if this was my wedding, what would I want my videographers to highlight?” That question always steers us in the primary direction for the film. That question constantly lures us towards authenticity and honesty. That question often pushes us towards “moments” rather than the produced.
Taylor and Jeff’s entire film was edited out of coffee shops and cafes. It never failed – every single time we were editing in public, a stranger would come up to us asking what we were smiling, or laughing, or tearing up at. It’s impossible not to react watching this film.
Eileen + Travis were so graciously vulnerable in front of our cameras, making it a complete joy to film them and their family and friends.
Whenever we think of Gaby + Jeff, we forget we haven’t even known them for a year! They are the type of couple that you instantly want to befriend and they make it so easy. They are approachable, generous, fun, hilarious – we spent countless moments in our editing suite laughing till it hurt from all the hysterical moments of their wedding day, to then find ourselves happily tearing up over the tender moments as well.
It brings us so much joy to share the beautiful city scape wedding of Erin + David. It’s been so fun getting to know these two kind souls over the last year. Their day was filled with love, and family, and tears – all of our favorite things. 🙂 Bonus for anyone that can spot Kaleb’s little tumble during the grand exit.
“… love that’s deep and wide and fierce, it’s patient and kind, it keeps no record of wrong doing. That kind of love is rare and it’s hard to find.”
What strikes us about Ben & Ximena’s wedding is how intentional it was. Their entire wedding was both in English and Spanish – and though that may sound intensive or belaboring, it didn’t feel that way at all. It was such a beautiful picture of two cultures combining, celebrating…
Every time we happen to film somewhere or something new, we find ourselves saying “This is the new favorite.” We came to a realization after Aislinn + William’s Smith Rock elopement. Having the type of wedding that “you want” is always our favorite
